A deductible is a predetermined amount between you and your insurance company. It acts similarly to a co-pay to the repair facility before having your vehicle returned to you. This is because it's the customers' responsibility to pay that portion of the repair bill in the form of a deductible. Please contact your insurance carrier for more information regarding your individual policy.
